How Hydronic Heating Systems Work
In hydronic heating systems, the boiler heats water and sends it to different rooms through pipes located below baseboard registers. The baseboard registers will then raise the temperature of the room by transferring heat from the hot water.

A closed loop boiler system begins at a boiler and forms a loop which ends at the same unit. It utilizes hydronics, which is the use of water as a medium for heat transfer.
